Police are in the process of investigating a crash that left a California man fighting for his life. This bicycle accident occurred on Oct. 26, in the San Diego area. Given the nature of the victim’s injuries, doctors are hopeful he’ll make a full recovery, but it is just too soon to tell at this point.
What happened?
The victim is a 43-year-old male who often spends time cycling with his friends. He was almost back to his residence after going out for an evening ride when he was struck by a passing car. He was promptly transported to an area hospital for treatment. According to the latest report, he suffered a severe brain bleed and swelling, along with facial fractures. Medical providers have kept him in a coma to give his body time to heal.
